So i really enjoy getting to collect rent from my tenants(four of them), but it would be nice if I could get it set up electronically. Can anyone recommend a site, tell me how it works, and what do i do to get the money from that site to my business bank account? I need to take a leap into this century, I reckon. Thanks all!

For rent collection online i use erentpayment.com, it's setup more for rent collection vs a regular online bill pay system.  It's a few bucks per transaction which you can setup to be paid by the owner or tenant, I eat the fee myself for the convenience.  You can setup the monthly amount and choose to accept or not accept partial payments which is important when you need to evict.  Tenants can setup automatic monthly, bi-weekly or weekly payments on their pay schedule (for tenants that pay me more than once a month I have them pay the fee).

For tenants that don't want to pay online I have a mailbox at a pack and ship store that is open 9am-7pm 6 days a week where they can drop off rent in person.

When I started off I didn't mind picking up rent from people but as it grew it quickly became too much of a time investment.  Now I only pick up from one person, a little old lady who doesn't drive, use a computer or trust the mail system.
