Where Can I Find Multi-Family Properties For Sale?

All,

I'm new to the game, so be gentle :)

What are your go to sites to find properties? It's been a challenge specifically finding quads. Do you subscribe to Loopnet/others like it, search bank websites, etc.? Would love any feedback!

@Tim OConnor ,

You can set up alerts on redfin.com to get emails for any new 2-4 unit properties every day. These are considered residential, whereas 5+ are considered multifamily (commercials). Zillow and trulia do the same. Craigslist has a for sale by owner section. And fsbo.com is another one too.

You can also call some local agents who have sold similar properties on the MLS, and ask them to call you with any off-market properties they may come across..

Loopnet mostly has commercial 5+ residential and other commercial properties. Some 4 unit "quad", but most of those are on redfin.com anyway..

Doesn't hurt to use them all though! That's all I can think of!

Good luck!
