Hello all,
I’m trying to figure out the best cities to start to invest in section 8 housing. Also, with those cities finding the best property managers that work with section 8 properties already. I’ve heard Detroit and St. Louis are good markets, but I think that they’re already saturated with investors. also curious about finding out how many vouchers are ready given out. Also curious about finding out how many vouchers are ready handed out. I’ve looked on affordable housing.com and have noticed a lot of vacancies. Any insight would help.

Hey Tyler, speaking as someone who invests heavily in Detroit and helps others do the same... it is far from saturated.

The sentiment around Detroit has finally moved from grossly negative to neutral. It's taken a long time and a lot of work to get to that point.

But people still have a negative stigma. And many folks write it off completely because of stagnant population. But if you start doing some research you'll see there's a ton happening under the surface.

Price points are still quite low and you can still find solid cash flowing deals if you know what you're doing.

I think we have another few years before the masses really catch on to Detroit.
