Multi family with seller carryback

Amran Musaid
Posted

I found a multi-family listing that says the seller is offering a partial seller carryback. How does that work with a lender? Can I get 80% from the lender, 15% from the seller, and put down 5% myself to buy the building?

    @Amran Musaid

    You need to to ask the seller as typically seller will only be in first position and not take on a second - so before going to deep down the rabbit hole this is something you will need to understand
