Best cities to invest in multifamily properties
Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to real estate investing and have a few deals under my belt. Looking to scale a bit more and am in search of MFH's w/ 10-20 units. I know cap rates are pretty compressed right now, so I'm really just focusing on areas with solid population growth, job growth, great schools, etc...
Price range is $1-2 million.
Any suggestions on which cities and areas I should be focusing on would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

@Daniel Kil I like the Quad Cities, particularly Davenport, IA, We do a lot of small to medium multi families there. Personally, I wouldn't make great schools a priority. 2/3rds of all renters don't have children and that number is probably higher for apartments. Also, keep in mind that neighborhoods with great schools do not usually have a lot of multi families.
