Question about arm's length transaction
If a home is being foreclosed by the county for back taxes, and the county becomes the owner of that property, can a relative of the original owner buy the property from the county? The home is free and clear of all mortgages.

Not sure about Texas, but there is no "arms length" requirement in buying something from the county. But be sure, are YOU buying a "lien" or the "property".
