Taxes due after a sheriff's sale
Greetings,
If you win a Sheriff's sale (brought by the 1st mortgage), if there are taxes or HOA's due, are you responsible as the winning bid and new owner to satisfy them?
Thanks in Advance

Property taxes, absolutely yes.
HOA dues, I don’t know New York State laws.
