Question about a home in foreclosure

I have been working with a homeowner who signed an authorization to release information for me to discuss his loan with his mortgage company. The loan recently went to the attorney to begin foreclosure. I have contacted the attorny's office repeatedly (not a local company)and left messages regarding my interest in buying this property. I can't get a returned phone call & am really interested in this particular property. Any suggestions on what direction to go with this? Hate to miss out on a potentially great deal here.

Kasha,

If it is one of the big foreclosure firms in KC or St. Louis, they wont call back. They work exclusively for their clients and they show up in the legals as the counsel for the lender........and they get literally hundreds of calls from homeowners, investors, relatives, etc trying to prevent the foreclosures. Most often these two firms I am thinking of, don't even return the calls of other attorneys.

Email me the name of the firm, if I know them, I'll call them for you.
