sheriff has locked up property
Hello BiggerPockets,
Have been trying to purchase a forecloused home on my block. I spoke with the owner while the bank was foreclosing on it and thought I had a deal worked out back in November. The owner went to Florida for the winter and was not returning my calls or email. Last week all contents of house were on the curb and the county Sheriff had locked all doors and posted stickers saying do not enter. Do I have to wait till house goes to auction or is their another course of action ? Thank you in advance for any advice. Will keep you posted on any progress .
Thanks, Greg
