Fannie Mae Landlording!?! Effect on Investors

Fannie Mae will be letting default borrowers rent their home on a 1 year lease back instead of foreclosing. I just posted a cool video on this at my blog below.

How do you see this having an impact on investors? Also should a government run entity that just asked for 15 billion in bail out money AGAIN be responsible to be the biggest landlord in the nation?

Do you feel like this would be a win win situation for the stressed borrower or should the bank sell these homes to buyers that want them? Or just another government takeover?
