How do you know title is clear?
Hi,
I'm looking into buying foreclosures at auction, which doesn't provide a lot of time to run a title search prior to the auction. I know I can call the town to find out about back taxes, water liens, etc, but without a title search, how can I confirm that there's no other title problems? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Neil
