Tax Deed Mobile, Al.

Hi All,

I am new to property investments. I recently purchased a tax deed from the state of Alabama. The property has 4 houses all with separate addresses on the lot, and all of the homes are occupied. I have no clue on what to do now that I have the tax deed.

I am not a lawyer or thr most learned in this field...but from my limited understanding you (or your lawyer) would send notice to each of the tenants informing them that you are the new owner, and they would need to sign a lease with you along with permiting you access to the properties to inspect for damages and make any needed upgrades or repairs.

Now...if they are currently paying someone else rent and that someone is unaware that you now hold the deed, you might need a lawyer to address that issue.
