Bank came and changed locks 1 month after sale!!

I bought my first REO property form Chase bank about a month ago. The locks I had installed on the property were destroyed and new locks installed with a key box attached to the handle 2 days ago. A white paper was attached to the front window advising to contact the preservation company or chase in case of an emergency.

I was able to get a hold of the preservation company that is handling the property and it turns out Chase never turned this service off with them. So when they came by on the monthly visit they  couldn't get in so they broke in and changed the locks again. In the process the door was damaged as well as the jam and aluminum siding along the door.

The property preservation company has now turned the service off at my request. I am currently waiting for representatives from Chase bank to get back to me.

At the very least I feel they should pay for the new locks and damaged caused. Has anybody ever have this happen? What was the final outcome?

thanks

Rob
