Foreclosure, Probate and Reverse Mortgage

Hi BP! I'm a newbie and have a question about probate and the foreclosure process for personal matters. My MIL passed away last year without a Will and we are going through probate in CA. My husband is the Administrator of the estate. We would like to try and save the house my MIL left behind to use as a rental. We recently received a foreclosure notification from the bank. there is also a Reverse Mortgage on the house and there is one other heir to the estate besides my husband. If we wanted to buy the house under an LLC, would this be a conflict of my husband's Administrator duties? Or can I attempt to buy under an LLC? We have a probate attorney but haven't been able to speak to him about this yet. We really want to keep the property and want to know what the options are.
