Finding Owner of Foreclosed Property

I have done some searches and not found what I'm looking for.

How do I find out who owns a particular vacant foreclosed property so that I can approach the bank to find out more info/make an offer? I have examined numerous documents in the registry of deeds and there are many lending companies and banks that are mentioned including such terms as trustees, etc. I have made no headway after 4-5 phone calls and long wait times to find out which bank actually owns it. Some of the entities listed:

Deutsch Bank
HSBC
Sg mortgage securities trust

One document mentions everything was transferred to deutsch bank but says "as trustee" and in the Deutsch recording they clearly state that they will not respond to inquiries regarding properties they trust for, so I'm assuming it's not them.

Thanks for any input.
