Owner declares bankruptcy in 6 days. Can I still purchase house?

I'm looking at a property in Nashville, TN that's owned by an out of state owner. The owner has suffered from medical issues and is now declaring bankruptcy. The bank will be foreclosing on the house in 6 days. Is there still time for me to purchase the property, assuming I had a buyer the following day?

I would be viewing the house tomorrow and getting a contract signed.

Bankruptcy attorney here;

Purchasing property that may be subject to claims of interest by creditors at a Bankruptcy Proceeding is generally bad news bears. Such transactions, if done close to the date of the Bankruptcy, can potentially be voided by the US Trustee. Talk to a Bankruptcy attorney prior to closing.
