Most creative pocket listing excuses
So down here in South Florida we have lots of pocket listings and it's funny sometimes when I call an agent up to see a listing and listen to their "hmmmm....ahhhhh...OK...let me check..." and try to give you an excuse why they can't show you the property until -LATER-, and LATER he/she will tell you the property JUST went under contract.
Typically they will say they don't have the keys YET, or owner is traveling out of the country...or some such excuses.
Typically the listing will have no pictures, and often times undisclosed address and sometimes no description at all.
Yesterday I heard one that's pretty creative, he said he's at the bank and they messed up his deposit and he would call me RIGHT BACK. No call back for the remainder of the day, and what's with dog barking in the background when I called? What bank has dog barking in the lobby?
So today I called him back to *FOLLOW UP* and he said "sure, any time you want to see it, oh CRAP, I'll have to call you back, I got water boiling over..."
You can't make this stuff up!
Should I call tomorrow to follow up just to hear what he might say?
