Financing for Self-Storage Investors with International Income
Hi BiggerPockets community!
We are under contract on our first cash flowing Self-Storage Facility for $500K. However, we just got rejected on our loan application from the lender that currently holds the note on the property - because of our income being international.
We are both US citizens but work for an overseas company (my partner’s family business). We file US tax returns.
Can anyone recommend a Lender/Entity that can finance this project given our circumstances?
Any advice or experience you can share if you’ve had with similar circumstances would be much appreciated!

They are very familiar with self storage. We also know some brokers in FL that specialize in self storage financing. More than happy to connect you.
