Exit strategies for office space or medical space

Hypothetical question here, you've built a brand new 10,000 sq ft office / medical building. What's you exit strategy do you manage the building or sell off office space or sell off the whole thing. I know this is a broad question I'm looking into how the develops think. Thanks Roc
