How do I find partners & form a group to purchase a Self-Storage

I've been Self-Storage Manager for going on 6 years now and my goal is to own a Self-Storage facility and need to find someone that will come in with me to purchase a Self-Storage and make it a SUCCESS! Where do I find someone or a group that will combine their minds and resources with mine and make AWESOME happen? I have my own goals to someday buy a house here in the Bay Area, rent that house to pay it off, sell the house and use those proceeds for a down payment on a selfsy but that can take YEARS from now and I want to be successful NOW!

Has anyone gone through this similar situation? If so, what are the mistakes that you wish you could've done differently? I really want to know!!!

Thanks much!

@Ronny Cortes Have you read or listened to "The Best Ever Apartment Syndication Book" by Joe Fairless? Although it is targeted toward apartment syndication, you can apply 90% of that material toward self-storage syndication. The book covers the How-To's as well as the big picture stuff. Best of luck!
