I am looking to expand my knowledge, but never see anything on the site about hotels or motels.  If anyone on here can point out some of the pros and cons or good places to learn more, it would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen much here on hotel investing either although here's a thread and member blog you might find helpful: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/32/topics/176...https://www.biggerpockets.com/blogs/3912/29466-tur...,

Hotels and motels are tough from what I understand. They require a lot of hands on management. And they're also getting a lot of competition these days from AirBnB and the like (which there are plenty of articles on here about renting out). I also believe they're tough to get financing for unless you have a lot of experience in the sector.
