What are the best resources to learn about non-residential commercial real estate?

I'm looking to transition from multifamily into non-residential commercial real estate and am looking for recommendations on books or any online resources to learn more about the space. As of now, I am most interested in multi-tenant retail and suburban office. But I have realized that with more education, my interests my change. I am trying to find resources to absorb more information around non-residential transactions, due diligence, leasing strategies to add value, etc.

Thanks!

Do everything noted above.  Plus:

Start doing deal analysis.  1 a week.  Go to Loopnet or Costar and pick a listing that interests you, in your area, so you can go look at them.  That way you have all of the info and an asking price.  Then dive in.  Bring each Deal analysis back to this forum and ask for review suggestions.

Dissect the process on a template.  Keep building the template until it's time to take the plunge and you're comfortable.  You should be ready to make a deal in 6 weeks.

Start small and Make Your Big Mistakes Early.

If you do the Deal analysis noted above, most of your mistakes will be on paper.
