Roof leak, or maybe not. Need a good commercial GC in Houston

Hi BP,

Anybody can recommend a good commercial GC in the Houston area?  We had a roof leak back in September at our end cap unit which is a coffee shop (retails strip, 9 tenants, building is only 4 years old) and I reported it to our roof warranty company (Carlisle).  They sent a roofer and that man said roof is good, the issue was with poor installation of HVAC system.  I had an HVAC guy came and he said nothing is wrong with the HVAC system.  So I hired a commercial inspector to inspect the whole roof/hvac system and he said there is 1 boot over the unit that had the leak the AC drain was poking into the vent boot and that is a no no, and the seal was broken.  So I had both the roofer and the plumber guys came to replace the boot and redirected the AC drain pipe to a different route.  We thought that fixed the issue.  But no, over the weekend we had heavy rain and the coffee shop had a leak again, at the exact same spot!  So at this point I am not sure if it's a roof issue or something else.  I already reported the leak to roof warranty company (normally they send an 'authorized roofer' to come and look) but at the same time I feel like maybe I need a good GC who has good understanding of construction to come and look at this and find the source of the leak.  That's why I ask for recommendations of a good commercial GC.  Unless you guys think I need somebody else to at this.

Any tips/advice is greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

Awwww... flattery will get you, everywhere of course! hahaha

You may already have 1 or more Roofers in your contacts but if not, look for an Established roofer/roofing company. NOT ones that advertise on TV, the radio, at the top of your searches, etc ... those obviously charge High enough to where they can pay for those marketing expenses! NOT saying to go cheap, but there ARE those, like us, that are happy to be FAIR on pricing, do the work ourselves (not subbing it out), and are around for 20+ years! :D
