Interested in Syndication

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can network and get involved with syndications? I want to deploy 50k into a large apartment building or something of the sorts.

Thanks,

Brandon

DFW area seems to be syndication central.  There are probably meetups every weekend.  Probably can find on FB or Meetup. Some names to look for are Adam Roberts, Aaron Katz, Kenny Wolfe, Darwin German, Merrill Kaliser, but there are plenty of others.

DFW also seems to be syndication guru central.

You've got Lifestyles Unlimited, Brad Sumrok, Michael Blank, Think Multifamily, Total Wealth Academy, and probably several others that have big conference where you can meet dozens of syndicators.   Sumrok has a nice 2-3 day conference coming up where you can meet both investors and syndicators.

Be very very careful with whom you invest.  Lots of BS out there.  Study very very hard, and don't just go with the first person you meet or the first group.   I would say at most of them I have attended, the pitches are very soft, not a lot of pressure, but results vary greatly and are not always what is projected or pitched.  People often call it passive, but I suggest you be very very active before you invest with anyone.   The next 2-3-5 years will be very very different than the last 5 years.
