Pay Contractor Time+ Material or just time?
What is the best way to approach it with a GC (this is my 5th deal so not a newbie).
Pay him one fee and he handles it all or I pay for all materials and he just charges me for his labor?
I still have a regular job so don’t really want to be holding hands every step of the way. But I know contractor will charge more for labor if he gets no markup on materials.
Thoughts on both options and why one is better? Talking about mostly new construction homes.
