Resale value - Black Accent wall ?
I am repainting the interior of a property I own and moved into. I plan to hold it for at least 5 years. There is a jut out wall where the fireplace is, and I am considering painting it black or dark grey (and the rest of the walls white). However, I am wondering if this is a good idea to keep it like this when I eventually sell the place? I have always read that neutral colors are best, so I wasn't sure about a black accent wall. It would look something like this: https://www.houzz.com/photos/r...
I tried googling this, but none of the results mentioned this scenario.
Thoughts?
