building your Team on BP some tips I would like to share.
Good Morning,
For all of you who are using BP to find vendors in other markets and are responding to those of us that have premium memberships..
I want to advise that when you do that there is a simple fill in the blanks type response and then the vendor with a premium account gets an e mail notification..
the issue for me is your e mail just gets buried in my in box and lost.. the list of leads which is on my BP back room or whatever you call it WALL or what not.. has a list of the leads that came in but only name and e mail ..
And those filling out the request to contact are putting no context into the submission just clicking the boxs like
pre qual check
want to buy in 1 to 6 months check
just very basic info..
And at least on the submissions that are coming to me there is nothing in the comment section detailing what the heck these folks really want.. so the basic information is worthless to the vendor..
My suggestion for those that use this function is to be very descriptive in your request other than clicking the basic box's so for me who has gotten plethora of these leads I simply don't respond.. I don't have the time to try to go back into my e mail notification and search for it and when I go to the page that has the leads on it there is nothing there except name rank and serial number .. does me no good.
So apologize for anyone reading this that might have sent a submission to me and i did not respond. One of the main reasons is I have a very narrow niche of what I do and its not really applicable to most BP members that are starting their team building journey or looking for the best rates on financing.
So anyway my suggestion to BP and anyone else who bothers to read this is at least fill out the comments section with EXACTLY what your after if it hits my niche's then i know its real lead and I can spend the time on responding..
@Mindy Jensen Mindy not sure if I am making sense but after your staff kindly tried to help me navigate the leads this is the conclusion I have come to.. the simple fix would be in my mind the comment section added to the list of leads on your whatever you call it your wall or back office etc.. so that when I click on it I can see that lead is something that i can help with.. or I can at least e mail back and say thank you for reaching out its not what I do.. instead I just don't respond and i don't like to do that.. if I respond its just a fishing expedition and will lead to a bunch of back and forth e mails.. LOL..
@Russell Brazil@James Wise Hey guys I bet you get a ton of leads how do you like how it works.. Jim probably delegates but maybe Russ personally engages.
