Seller wants to "converse" via writing letters through the mail

Got an older lady, who is hard of hearing and is an out of state absentee owner. She responded to my absentee owner letters and is interested in selling. Due to being hard of hearing she says she wants to start out by writing letters back and forth.

How would you respond to this request via your next letter to her? Looking for suggestions on verbiage.

I'm thinking about asking in the letter if there is someone who lives with her or a relative who lives close by that could talk to me on the phone and relay our conversation to speed things up?

Thoughts???

I don't see any need to speed things up. I've done deals through the mail and through email. Do your due diligence and send an offer in a letter. That will either put an end to the discussion or she will be interested in countering. Lots of people are "interested" in selling. Throw some numbers out there and they lose interest real quick. :)
