What are the Pros & Cons of owning a Section 8 property?
Hello I am lightly looking at a single family property that currently has a section 8 tenant. I remember hearing section 8 pros and cons on the podcast.
Pros: Rent is always guaranteed
Cons: Tenants can be poor house keepers and repairs may be needed more often
That's literally all that I know in regards to this topic. I'd love to hear from anyone who has any knowledge and can provide feedback on why I should stay away from section 8 properties or why I shouldn't let section 8 properties scare me off from a deal.

There's probably 20,000 posts about this already here on BP. Just type in Section 8 BiggerPockets. Personally I am all for Section 8. It's worked out great for the tenants have. Properly screen them and you are off to the bank.
