Notice of Non Responsibility

I understand that a Notice of Non-Responsibility is mostly used for tenant/landlord relationships however will it offer you any protection from subs if they are hired and paid through your GC? I have my GC sign a lien waiver as payments are made however I don't directly pay the subs and would be interested in protecting myself from them as well when it comes to liens.

I assume this won't do what I am looking for (and I guess this is a question primarily for my lawyer) but I just wanted to see what you all think about it.
