You Think a Real Estate license is a liability think again.
Just wanted to relay a cool story about my wife who has been a broker for about 30 years now and a top producer most of the time.
This is why having a license for the very small amount of money it takes to get it and maintain it is such an advantage over just the obvious for an investor IE instant access to MLS write your own contracts best networking there is etc.
We have a town car driver that we have used for 16 plus years now " Jano" I always have him take her to and from the airport I dont trust ubers for her.. So we know him well.
And as a town car driver you meet all kinds.
One of his clients he has driven for years as well is a new Heiress Grandfather sold the business for over 1 billion and she is about 32 YO. And now looking for a new home.. Jano Refers Lori In one weekend she shows two homes one a 4.4 mil the other a 6.8 million. Buyer passes on the 4.4 but wants the 6.8 Lori negotiates 6.4 on her behalf and close in 30 days all cash.. done With out the license this would not have been possible you just never know where your next deal can come from with a license this is why I keep my brokers license active even though i don't really do much with it you never know.
So grab that license and network network network never know what could happen.. for me I got a referral a few years back and brokered a 5.5 million dollar MF Same thing 1031 all cash close in 45 days.. easier than flipping a 80k house in the mid west LOL
