How many times can I use a FHA and VA loan?

Hey guys I'm want to get started in house hacking and I have military background. So how many times can one use a FHA loan or VA loan? I listened to the recent podcast and it said you can have only 1 FHA loan at a time and sometimes 2.

1. How would you combat this later on after you get the loan would you change it into a Coventional loan? Then can you use the VA or FHA loan again on a different property?

2. How would you fund the new conventional loan because 20% is a lot? Would one use a appraisal of the house instead of the actual worth of the house.
