Creating Multiple Lots from One Piece of Land

Hello Everyone,

I have my eye on a piece of land that is 2 acres. I am thinking about breaking the two acres into four lots and putting a manufactured home on each lot to rent out. My question is who would I talk to to see if it is possible to break the land into pieces?

Thank you for your time.

best thing to do is to go into the planning commission offices in the city/county  if they are allowing in person.. and simply ask a planner.. thats the best thing to do and its free.. then once you get some idea of feasibility U can move forward with civil and surveyor.
