Double close with my RE agent

Looking to house hack my first duplex. Found an agent who works in off market deals and he had a great one for me. However, I'm a little concerned with him working for me AND the seller. Essentially, I would think that there is greater benefit for the RE agent to align forces with the seller, rather than the buyer. Obviously, the more I pay for the property, the more the agent and seller make. But, on the other hand, he brought me the deal that he worked to find through cold calling and direct mailing.

What do you all think?

An agent is more concerned in closing the deal....not trying to make an extra $250 with a $10k higher selling price.
