House Hack w/ Section 8 on other side
I have another duplex under contract as of a few minutes ago. My agent says it can rent for $750 with regular tenants or $950 with Section 8. Obviously, I want the higher income, does anyone see a downside to doing either or? I know Sec. 8 tenants pay a portion out of pocket (when they feel like it) and you have yearly Section 8 inspections.
I may have just answered my own question, but maybe I'm missing something?
