Opportunity Zones Chattanooga

Hi everyone! I’m a new investor in the Chattanooga area. I just learned about opportunity zones, and I’m wondering if I could use them to build my portfolio. However, I’m nervous because these are areas I would typically avoid. Does anyone have experience investing in this area?

I think that Orchard Knob is in the opportunity zone district. You may not see huge growth this market cycle in particular, but I feel like there is a lot of potential for future growth because the pattern on renovations from Highland Park seems to be trickling that direction.
