Atlanta Neighborhoods for a new Investor

Hello Everyone! I am looking to invest in my first property. I am planning on getting a place that needs some renovation, living there while I renovate it and then renting it out while I do the same for my next property! I was wondering which areas of Atlanta are affordable but up and coming. Currently I am looking in Norcross, Scottdale, and Carver Hills.

I would love some advice on those areas and information on other areas I might be overlooking! Thank you!

Hi @Audrey Easton, welcome to the BP community!

There are parts of Norcross that are somewhat affordable and I am a big fan of Gwinnett County. Give Lilburn a look too.

If you're wanting to be closer to the city, the areas @Sara C. mentioned are solid. North Tucker and East Tucker might fit the bill for you pretty well.

If you have any questions or just want to chat about the Atlanta market, please feel free to shoot me a message anytime!
