Is this acceptable under a FHA loan?
Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a multi fam with an FHA loan and ran into something I hadn't seen before in the basement of this house built in the early 1900s. It looks like the steel structural members were rusting and replaced with these tall jacks. This looks like a temporary fixture...what is everyones take on this?
I realize this isn't a replacement for an official inspection, however I'd like to leverage the experience of my BP colleagues on this, thanks.
