Cold-Calling in a HOT market
I live in Montreal, QC. It's still a very hot market right now. Everyone is looking for deals. I've been starting to do cold calling. After a while, I can just tell that every owner gets A LOT of calls asking them to sell, we've even joked about this in a few calls.
I've read that you 'need to build a relationship and rapport with the owner' to have a good shot. However, when I ask 'do you have have interest in selling' ? It seems to be a dead-end after that, I can almost hear the owner roll their eyes when they figure out that's why I'm calling.
Do you have advice on different angles or strategies on a market where marketing is pretty saturated?
All the best
Dan
