Question regarding using a Real Estate Agent
I understand that using a SDIRA account to purchase real estate means I can not live in the property, nor can an even remotely related relative, nor can a relative do any upkeep or repairs, but what about a family member being the realtor in the process of looking for and purchasing the property?

Linda,
I'd they take a commission then yes they would be benefiting from your IRA. I will run it through my tax research team anyway as technically the commission is paid from seller, the IRS would say there would have been no transaction if the IRA wasn't involved.
