Wondering what will happen if you do not close on time? COVID-19

Hey everyone! Are you hoping to buy a home soon but are concerned that your transaction will not close on time if something happens with COVID-19? We understand! Our team is already prepared to handle this with your purchase and sale agreement! Part of our job as professional Realtors is to keep up to date on Forms and Addendums that we can use in different situations to protect your best interests as our client. We will be using a Force Majeure form that will protect you in the event that something happens that delays your closing due to COVID-19 (Quarantine?) or any other event that is outside of you and the seller's control. Check out the Notice from our MLS below in the picture. I have already familiarized myself with their form/addendum to provide better service for my clients! I hope you are all staying safe out there! I would encourage you to speak to your current agent that has your deal under contract and see if it would be necessary to get this form signed. I have had all 3 of my investors who are currently under contract now, sign it, and will be using this form for the forsable future until this whole thing ends.

@Aaron Morrow is this exclusive to Seattle, or could this exact same form be used in other cities in states?
