Getting a backup offer to a house that is under contract
I currently have a house that I own under contract ( they are getting a FHA loan). Waiting for the appraisal/ inspection to come back to make sure it appraised high enough and doesn't need stuff to qualify as FHA. Another realtor asked me if it is still available as he want to show it to a prequalified buyer.
Is it kosher to show it and get a back up offer in case the FHA loan falls through? And do I need to disclose that it is under contract and we will know in a week or two on the status? Or do I get a second offer ( knowing that the first is a contract but if it fails we have a buyer to step in.)?
It is a for sale by owner and we have it listed on Zillow.
Thanks in advanced
