Gearing up to purchasing my first rental property - Is it better to do it as an individual or as a LLC?

Hello @Pedro C.,

Are you planning to purchase the home all cash? If not, you might have some difficulty obtaining a conventional loan in the name of an LLC. However, all of it depends on your financial situation, lender connections and other circumstances.

From an accounting and liability perspective, I would suggest purchasing inside of an LLC or Trust whenever possible.
