I am new to the idea of real estate investment. Until now, I havent had the revenue to be able to pull it off. I am planning on buying my first house this summer coming up. I want to start investing in rental properties in my area as soon as feasibly possible. Should I jump on the first deal i see or should i wait until i acquire my own house first.

I am going to have to be pretty hands off for the most part. I work in south west asia for 3 or so months at a time. I am only home for approx 90 days a year. On my next trip home i and going to be doing some networking and start putting together a team of people to help me on my endeavor. Any ideas or tips on who i need to source for my team?

My current job is only a 5-6 year plan. So im looking for something to fall back on when ive reached my goals here.
