Best House Hacking Markets

I haven't done any real estate deals as of yet, but I want to get started by buying a primary residence so I can put 3.5% down and house hack my way until I'm ready to by an investment property (like renting out a basement). I was thinking about taking it to Atlanta for my first move, but it doesn't seem like there's many properties I can house hack this way (or maybe I'm not looking in the right areas). Is Atlanta a good place to house hack? If not, what cities/states are recommended to look at while trying to do this strategy while creating good cash flow?
