Estimating Repair Costs In Canada

Richard McCorkle
Posted

Good Evening,

As someone, who is new to the wholesale aspect of real estate in Canada, I would like to ask those, who already have experience in the wholesaling sector.

When estimating repairs, are the costs increased in Canada, because the cost of materials are more expensive?

Using The Three Tier System

The Tier One House, Let's Say In The Northeastern United States, Would Be In The $15.00 Per Square Foot Range:

That Would Include:

Paint

Flooring

Landscaping

Light Fixtures

Deep Clean

The Tier Two House Would Involve Increasing The Costs To $25.00 Per Square Foot:

Paint

Flooring

Landscaping

Light Fixtures

Deep Clean

Updating Kitchen & Bathroom

The Tier Three House Would Involve Increasing The Costs To $35.00 Per Square Foot:

Paint

Minimal Work

Flooring

Landscaping

Light Fixtures

Deep Clean

Updating Kitchen & Bathroom

1 Or 2 Big Ticket Items

How Much Should I Increase My Per Tier Estimations For The Canadian Market To Cover Material Costs?

If So, By How Much Per Tier?
