Having trouble getting financed out of country atm!

I’m having issues financing from outside of the country (I’m a US citizen) as my first property, but will be an investment property.

I have a poor credit score from the past, but I have 100k+ and have good income (>$150k). I’m looking specifically in the Chicago downtown area (where I’m originally from!).

Anyone have any ideas how I can get 200-250k loan more creatively?!
