To add a back deck or not
Greetings, BP!
I'm trying to decide whether or not I should add a deck to my primary house that I plan to later rent/sell (market depending) once I move in a couple of years. I'm curious to hear how others feel on this. Has anyone added a deck and seen a return on it or does anyone add decks when they flip houses, prep for rentals, etc? I'd love to hear what people have experienced in the past.
A couple considerations:
-The back of house butts up against a dense wooded area and a creek.
-Most comps in the area have back patio/deck areas.
-I would enjoy it a lot while living here.
-IMO, it would make the house more functional and the back area more usable.
I can't wait to hear how others feel about this! Thanks, in advance!
