To contact the listing agent or not...

Hi guys, I have a property I want to look at. My question is can I contact the listing agent so I can look at the property and then get my own agent if I decide to pursue.

Thanks,

Mark - Sometimes it makes sense to go directly to the listing agent instead of using a buyers agent. For instance, I do this when I know there are going to be multiple offers on a property. The listing agent will have more motivation to have my offer accepted than anyone else's because (s)he will get the full commission on the sale.
