I have used 99designs in the past with great results. And if you don't like any of them you don't have to pay. If you want anything that looks original you will need to be in $400-$500 range from what I have found.

@jesse I hope you can get back into it. I have had a few close calls of different kinds but I have had more close calls in my car.

@Brian, I figured it would be quite a bit different. Getting my heli PPL is on my bucket list. I just have to get over my fear of flying in something without wings.... Lol

@Mitch, Yeah most of them aren't happy. Some have been furloughed multiple times. Tough life....I have one group of buddies I used to work with at Cirrus Aircraft, and when we all got laid off in '08-'09 no one went to the airlines. Some are flying UAV's, some corporate, I stayed on the training side, and some went back to school to find a better career. I can't talk any of them into to Real Estate, but that is the direction I am heading. I will always fly and train but I hope to have a solid backup income from real estate to weather the eneviable slow periods in aviation.

Will Browm, Good luck, that would be great if you got back into it. I have never flown a Grumman but I know the guys that fly them love em.

Brian Burke, That is something I have always wanted to do. I have only been up in a heli. a couple of times. How hard is the transition? What year Cirrus do you have? I own a Cirrus training center here in NC. I used to be a factory instructor in Duluth. I just got back from a training trip from Chicago to Alaska in an SR20.

Mitch Kronowit, my man you are in a whole different league. That is really cool. Most of my college buddies are all in the airlines. All are still in the regionals as FO's after 5-6 years. Sounds like you have been able to fly a little bit of everything.

Yeah they typically have local meetings and seminars. At my local REIA the monthly meeting are $15 for non members, free for members. And they have free weekly lunch meetings. They have a new topic every week over lunch. The membership is $100 a year. About every larger town has one.

Here is another one. http://www.facebook.com/alamoreia

Here is the national site, you can search for another local REIA.

Sounds like I would be looking for a new agent. One who wants to work with you to find the property that you want. No idea why you have to put the utilities in your name to do an inspection.... Sounds like a lazy agent.....
